About Weam
Weam helps people discover useful places relevant to Muslim communities, starting in Addis Ababa.
Make useful places easier to find
Finding the right restaurant, masjid, shop, or other useful place should not require searching through scattered posts, outdated recommendations, and incomplete map listings.
Weam brings that information into one simple directory built around discovery, location, and community contributions.
Starting with places
Weam begins with restaurants, masjids and prayer spaces, and shops across Addis Ababa. The goal is to make finding a place, understanding where it is, and checking useful information fast and straightforward.
How Weam approaches trust
People can recommend useful places that are missing from the directory.
Submissions are reviewed before becoming public listings.
Anyone can report information that appears outdated or incorrect.
A directory, not a certification body
Weam helps organize and review listing information. A listing does not automatically mean Weam certifies a business, owner, product, or religious practice.
Addis Ababa first
Weam is starting locally so the directory can become genuinely useful before expanding further.
